Terms of Service

These Terms apply to the website, video analysis, Shorts creation, editing, storage, and related services provided by the Easy Cut operating team (the “Service”). By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

You must use accurate information and your own social account to sign in. You are responsible for keeping your account and sign-in method secure and must promptly notify customer support if you suspect unauthorized use.

The Service creates Shorts candidates from long-form source videos at least 3 minutes long. For videos at least 4 minutes long, you select a range from 4 to 60 minutes per job; videos between 3 and 4 minutes are processed in full. It does not support turning YouTube Shorts or other short-form videos under 3 minutes into new Shorts. By default, only one creation job may run at a time. Creation limits, retention, usage, and available features depend on your plan. Processing may be limited or fail because of an external platform policy, the source, network conditions, or AI output.

You may submit only YouTube videos that you own or are lawfully authorized to use, and you must comply with copyright, publicity, trademark, privacy, YouTube, and other platform rules.

Confirming that you hold rights does not replace any separate access or download permission required by a platform. We may reject URL-based collection and ask you to provide a lawfully held source file where policy, network, or technical restrictions require it.

Rights in submitted sources and generated results remain with their respective owners. We process user content only as needed to provide the Service, recover from errors, and maintain security.

You must not access another person's account or bypass restrictions on private, paid, age-restricted, or DRM-protected content; rotate accounts, cookies, tokens, proxies, locations, or similar means to evade authentication, rate, bot, regional, or content controls; infringe rights; use the Service for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, discriminatory, defamatory, or malware-related purposes; send automated bulk requests, disrupt the Service, exploit vulnerabilities, evade limits; or violate applicable law or platform terms.

The Service uses the OpenAI API to transcribe source-video audio and uses the paid Google Gemini API or OpenAI API to analyze transcript and video or clip information and generate highlights, titles, and synthetic comment copy for the comment-capture template. The Privacy Policy explains the transferred fields, countries, retention periods, and refusal options.

AI-generated highlights, titles, captions, and synthetic comments may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or inappropriate material; synthetic comments are not real user reactions. AI output is editing assistance, not an automated decision with legal or similarly significant effect. Before publishing or commercial use, you must review legality, accuracy, possible misleading presentation, and rights.

For paid features, price, included usage, billing cycle, and refund terms are shown before payment. Cancellation, withdrawal, and refunds follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Additional processor or legal conditions may apply. Free or trial features may change or end after notice.

Basic and additional processing time is a service-use limit measuring how much source video may be processed within Easy Cut. It is not transferable stored monetary value, cannot be used to pay a third party, and cannot be transferred to another account or converted into cash or points; it is therefore not a prepaid electronic payment instrument under Korea's Electronic Financial Transactions Act.

This classification does not limit statutory rights to withdraw, rescind or terminate, recover an overpayment, or receive a refund under applicable law and the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Selected source-video ranges are stored temporarily while a job runs and deleted when it ends. Editing clips, completed videos, thumbnails, and captions may be retained for up to 30 days from first creation under the plan policy; re-editing may not extend that period.

Expired or user-deleted output cannot be recovered, so download any files you need in advance.

We may change, inspect, or suspend all or part of the Service for reliability, security, legal, external-service, or operational reasons. Foreseeable material changes will be announced in advance by a reasonable method.

If you violate these Terms or law, or interfere with safe operation, we may cancel jobs, delete content, restrict use, or suspend the account. You may terminate the agreement at any time by requesting account deletion.

We use reasonable efforts to provide a stable Service. To the extent allowed by law, liability may be limited for loss caused by natural disasters, communications failures, external platforms, cloud or AI providers, user fault, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

This Article does not exclude liability for our intent or gross negligence, or consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.

Our processing of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy.

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes by consultation; unresolved disputes will be handled by the court with jurisdiction under applicable law.

We may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Material changes unfavorable to users will be announced in the Service before they take effect.

YouTube connection and uploading are being prepared in a limited test environment and are not yet generally available. This notice applies to test participants who choose to use the feature.

Use of the YouTube integration is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Before uploading, users must review content rights, destination channel, title, description, visibility and required content disclosures. The current test permits private uploads only; public and unlisted uploads are restricted. Access or publication may be limited by Google or YouTube review, policies or processing. Disconnecting does not delete videos already published on YouTube.
